The Lunar Bull

The Lunar Bull: About the Spiritual Significance of Matriarchy, by Peter Fritz Walter.

Description

‘The Lunar Bull: About the Spiritual Significance of Matriarchy’ (Scholarly Articles, Vol. 9) is a study that outlines the present debate about the dichotomy of matriarchy-patriarchy.

On the level of the collective unconscious, the study demonstrates, the historical transition from matriarchy to patriarchy has not taken place. In the contrary, it appears that the intrinsic symbolism of the soul level, the content of the unconscious, the level of spiritual visions is one of the matriarchal gods and cosmic energy holders, such as the mythic or lunar bull, and the serpent.

This is not just a matter of mythology. The impact and vibration of our soul values permeates all living and is influencing our decisions and our policies more than any reductionist concepts, such as moralism, child protection or the present international pursuits to fight pedophilia that render us conscious of a growing narcissism that today affects not only individuals and political leaders, but whole nations.

What we can learn from studying mythology, as this study shows, is to find solutions that are viable and durable because they are integrated in the landscape of soul, and our collective unconscious, and not just green table solutions that may appeal to our rational mind.

The book comes with an extensive Glossary and a Bibliography.

Walter’s Inner Child Coaching

Walter’s Inner Child Coaching: A Guide For Your Inner Journey (Series Training and Consulting, Vol, 3) by Peter Fritz Walter.

Description

‘Walter’s Inner Child Coaching: A Guide For Your Inner Journey (Series Training and Consulting, Vol, 3)’ is a systematic road map for the whole of the procedure of Inner Child Recovery, Healing and Artwork. It is a selfhelp guide and provides many examples and sample dialogues.

The content has been structured so as to provide some meat for all tastes. Each of the main chapters is different in style and addresses issues that speak to a different inner self.

Exclusiveness in fostering only the Inner Child is unwise and not recommended since the other main actors of our inner stage, your Inner Parent and your Inner Adult which compose your inner team, are always present and active; thus, they have to be involved if an effective outcome of voice dialogue is to be achieved.

Only once a flexible and dynamic equilibrium within this inner team is achieved, the person can be said to play out her full potential of personal power, creativeness and inner strength.

That means this inner process is a truly religious quest; this, however, does not imply that it is for that reason a strictly serious affair. In the contrary, working with the Inner Child is highly amusing at times, and that punch of humor and wit is one of the most rewarding aspects of Inner Child work, for it is one of the most typical character traits of the recovered and healed Inner Child.

The guide comes with an Inner Child Glossary and a complete contextual Bibliography.

Power or Depression?

Power or Depression: The Cultural Roots of Abuse (Scholarly Articles, Vol. 12) by Peter Fritz Walter.

Description

‘Power or Depression: The Cultural Roots of Abuse (Scholarly Articles, Vol. 12)’ points out the historical roots of abuse and patriarchal society’s systematic breeding of depression as something like a cultural disease.

However, the author does not stay with the analysis but shows practical ways to get free from the cultural trap so as to find a way of personal liberation and creative realization. The approach of this book to healing the abuse pattern is mainly focused upon establishing a strong identity, building soul values, and realizing a high level of personal autonomy. This involves working on the integration of emotions and the dissolution of patterns of codependence and emotional abuse in our lives and relationships.

And beyond current cutting-edge psychiatry that has recognized the devastating effects of codependence and emotional abuse in individual relationships, this essay shows these same effects to happen in the relation individual-organism, individual-group, individual-ideology, individual-sect. Fusion is even more dangerous when people seek to dissolve themselves within organizations, because what happens then is that they will indeed by eaten up by the organism and become wheels in a murderous system.

One essential element in this process of identifying and healing an abuse pattern in your life is to stay as much as possible untouched by the current media propaganda that focuses on labeling certain people as abusers, and certain people as victims, thereby occulting the real causes of abuse in our culture. In truth, it’s the system itself that perpetuates abuse as forensic psychiatry, to this very day, precludes any reform with the argument that the abused of today will inevitably be the abusers of tomorrow.

In reality, the chain of abuse can well be broken by appropriate support and treatment. The reason why abuse is and will be perpetuated to the generations to come is because society at large does not go beyond its moralistic, reductionist and judgmental life paradigm that projects problems large-scale on certain groups of people, on so-called ‘perpetrators’ and ‘offenders,’ predators and their prey-victims, in order to avoid taking responsibility for the problems it has itself created as a society.

Alberto Villoldo and Healing the Luminous Body

Alberto Villoldo and Healing the Luminous Body: Short Biography, Book Reviews, Quotes, and Comments (Great Minds Series, Vol. 10), by Peter Fritz Walter

Description

‘Alberto Villoldo and Healing the Luminous Body’ (Great Minds Series, Vol. 10) is a study about one of the greatest and most gifted Western shamans the world has seen.

He has studied the healing practices of the Amazon and Inka shamans for more than 25 years.

While at San Francisco State University, he founded the ‘Biological Self-Regulation Laboratory’ to study how the mind creates psychosomatic health and disease, and it was with this research intention in mind that he left his orderly life and ventured into the Andes to find a knowledge that dates back thousands of years among native shamans and natural healers.

Villoldo directs the Four Winds Society, where he trains individuals throughout the world in the practice of energy medicine and soul retrieval.

He has training centers in New England, California, the UK, Holland, and Park City, Utah. The author of the best-seller ‘Shaman, Healer, Sage’, Villoldo now draws on his vast knowledge to bring us a practical and revolutionary way to discover the source of an original wound that may have occurred during childhood or in a former lifetime, and that derailed our destiny. He then shows us how to track forward along our time lines to find our best and highest future.

The book comes with extensive book reviews and quotes, and comments, as well as illustrations, and two bonus reviews of the books ‘Ayahuasca’ by Ralph Metzner and ‘The Cosmic Serpent’ by Jeremy Narby.

Fritjof Capra and the Systems View of Life

Fritjof Capra and the Systems View of Life: Short Biography, Book Reviews, Quotes, and Comments (Great Minds Series, Vol. 3), by Peter Fritz Walter.

Description

‘Fritjof Capra and the Systems View of Life’ (Great Minds Series, Volume 3)’ is a passionate study about the great contemporary physicist and a review of all of his published books, including extensive quotes.

The author considers Fritjof Capra as one of the most important authors on new science and systems research. He found Capra’s ‘Tao of Physics’ in 1985, at a time when his life was in a complete reorientation. He compares the impact of the book on his psyche and his personal evolution with his discovery of the I Ching and Taoism, as well as the writings and psychoanalytic teaching of Françoise Dolto (1908-1988).

The author considers as genius Capra’s unique gift to formulate and explain complex scientific and philosophical insights and interrelations in a way that the educated reader can understand. He sees certain parallels in Capra’s life in the lives of Albert Einstein and Wilhelm Reich who, like him, were from Germanic origin and after their immigration to the United States only wrote and published in English.

The author especially lauds Capra’s basically non-judgmental worldview and his ability to understand people from ultra-orthodox to very liberal with the same generosity and magnanimity. This can be seen, inter alia, in a lesser known volume, entitled ‘Uncommon Wisdom’ which is a recollection of conversations with remarkable people, a kaleidoscope of anecdotes from the lives of truly lively and communicative humans. Another noteworthy instance from Capra’s life is his long involvement in the counter culture and his meeting with most of the celebrities of that culture, as for example Timothy Leary, Stan Grof, Terence McKenna, Gregory Bateson, or Ronald David Laing and Thomas Szasz, the founders of the antipsychiatry movement.

The author especially notes Capra’s merit is to have introduced the systems view of life to scientific research, while he is not the originator of the idea, which was mainly developed by Ludwig von Bertalanffy, Ilya Prigogine, Humberto Maturana and Francisco Varela. But Capra has carefully surveyed and summarized this important research that is generally difficult to grasp to the non-scientific reader, and has rendered the important idea accessible for the interested lay audience.

Joseph Murphy and the Power of Your Subconscious Mind

Joseph Murphy and the Power of Your Subconscious Mind: Short Biography, Book Reviews, Quotes, and Comments (Great Minds Series, Vol, 6), by Peter Fritz Walter.

Description

‘Joseph Murphy and the Power of Your Subconscious Mind’ (Great Minds Series, Vol. 6)’ is a study that features one of the greatest self-help authors of our time.

Joseph Murphy (1898-1981), born in Ireland, was a naturalized American author and New Thought minister, ordained in Divine Science and Religious Science. He was born into a strictly Catholic school master family and was accepted as a Jesuit seminarian. However, by the time he reached his late teen years, he began to question the orthodoxy of the Jesuits and withdrew from the seminary, leaving his family for going to America, where he started a modest career as a pharmacist.

Parallel to his job, he began to study all of the world’s religions, yet his concept of Christianity was non-traditional and he founded his own church in Los Angeles, becoming a proponent of the New Thought movement, whose founder, Ernest Holmes, became his mentor. Gradually his classes, his sermons and his radio programs became more and more widely known and his fame spread with publishing his first bestseller, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, in 1963. Over the years, he received several academic degrees, as a scientist, a theologian, and a Ph.D. as well. In his later years he also became a Fellow of the Andhra Research University of India.

After his first great publishing success, he wrote more than 30 other books that all become bestsellers. He died in 1981 and his wife, Dr. Jean Murphy, continued his ministry.

Dr. Murphy left a legacy that is highly important in our time of loss of soul in everyday life. His practical and yet deeply spiritual teaching, and prayer technique, called ‘Scientific Prayer’ has left a markstone in our time for those, who without wanting to join a fixated Credo, wish to live a spiritual life, do good to others, experience success, wealth and recognition, and create inner peace.

The present book provides a bit for all tastes, offering a short biography, reviews of his most important books, quotes, comments and book excerpts, and a bonus essay by the author, entitled ‘Creative Prayer, the Miracle Road.’

Edward de Bono and the Mechanism of Mind

Edward de Bono and the Mechanism of Mind: Short Biography, Book Reviews, Quotes, and Comments (Great Minds Series, Vol. 5), by Peter Fritz Walter.

Description

‘Edward de Bono and the Mechanism of Mind’ (Great Minds Series, Vol. 5) is a study that features one of the greatest think tanks of our time.

Born in 1933 in Malta, he has been a training expert, corporate consultant, writer and philosopher of world renown for decades. He has been a corporate consultant for DuPont, Exxon, Shell, Ford, IBM, British Airways, Ciba-Geigy, Citibank—to name a few.

Unlike many other corporate training experts, Dr. de Bono went way beyond the job of a corporate trainer, and is to be considered a true business philosopher and conceptualist. His research on perception and the memory matrix of the human brain has had a decisive impact upon accelerated learning.

Dr. de Bono is the creator of many creativity-boosting games and training programs, among them the concept of ‘lateral thinking’ and the ‘6 Thinking Hats’ brainstorming technique. Creative Genius

Creative Genius: Four-Quadrant Creativity in the Lives and Works of Leonardo da Vinci, Wilhelm Reich, Albert Einstein, Svjatoslav Richter and Keith Jarrett, by Peter Fritz Walter.

Description

‘Creative Genius: Four-Quadrant Creativity in the Lives and Works of Leonardo da Vinci, Wilhelm Reich, Albert Einstein, Svjatoslav Richter and Keith Jarrett’ is the second volume of Great Minds Series and the author’s main publication on his more than thirty years of genius research. In this book, the author, applying the 4-quadrant IQ scheme commonly used in genius research, reviews and portrays the lives of five highly creative men: Leonardo da Vinci, Wilhelm Reich, Albert Einstein, Svjatoslav Richter and Keith Jarrett.

One of the main signs of human genius is the capability to see the hidden connections between apparently separate phenomena, or to perceive phenomena as a pattern, a Gestalt, a unique configuration of attributes that leads the observer to a unifying vision.

This integrative nature of all genius, the life stories of the five men clearly show it: it’s the organic and systemic vision of life and living by Leonardo, the correct intuition Reich had about the underlying bioenergetic cause of schizophrenia, Einstein’s vision of the interconnections between space and time, Richter’s spontaneous perception of music in which is embedded a bird’s perspective of correct style and musical taste, and Jarrett’s unique integration of patterns of classical music with creative free-style improvisation.

The book is destined to broaden the reader’s awareness for apprehending a network of hidden connections that is spanning the whole gamut of human experience, from science to art, from from creative vision to tangible realization—to arrive at a comprehension of human potential, incarnated in genius, which is the highest realization of human complexity. The reason why most people cannot attain the level of human genius is not because genius is inborn—all research shows that it is not—but because they are not critical enough in the face of conformity pressure and the general solidifying framework of modern consumer culture that models citizens instead of accepting them as they are, in their full humanity.

While the great lay public is the primary audience of the book, it may also be of interest for academic researchers, especially when their research is spanning the gamut of human consciousness, systems theory, quantum physics, genius research and complexity theory.

Creative-C Learning

Creative-C Learning: The Innovative Kindergarten, by Peter Fritz Walter.

Description

‘Creative-C Learning: The Innovative Kindergarten’—2017 Revised, Updated and Reformatted Edition—presents a pre-school curriculum for a sane, holistic, brainsmart and systemliterate education of small children.

The author’s educational approach is tailored to how our brain works and develops from ages 2 to 6. It’s a functional approach, not an idealistic one, based on the actual constitution of the human being, with all the complexity inherent in it.

The author contends that children are born sane and are rendered more or less insane by an educational system that till now considers the human being as the impossible human, that is, a creature that is basically faulty and has to be improved and upgraded by education, and morality. The present view opposes this age-old educational paradigm and shows that traditional education brings about fragmentation, ignorance and widespread violence.

The present curriculum emphasizes the natural integrity and wholeness of the small child, who is by nature a systems thinker. The curriculum builds upon this fact and presents a way to raise pre-schoolers in a learning environment that fosters systemic thinking capabilities, so that children become systemliterate at a young age.

The author also emphasizes the need for teaching emotional awareness to teachers and presents techniques to be applied in the vocational training for early child care workers and pre-school teachers that teach how to cope with stress, and that show the details of the trustbuilding process both between teachers and students and between parents and teachers.

The audience for this guide are all those involved in educating children, as well as educational policy makers, also parents, educational associations, politicians, pediatricians and child psychologists, and also the lay public, especially those who are looking for a new way to educate children now and in the future.
